Shadow Lake in the Sierra Nevada's is one of my favorite back country hikes. On this day, a single centered cloud projected a shadow behind the lake which gives a humorous sense of appropriateness to the name of the lake. Wind on the backside of the lake reflects the blue sky, while the calm areas reflect the mountain scenery- there is some subtle detail in this one.
